Photographing Architectural Interiors
Most architectural practices in New York City have a significant interiors component. Architectural Interiors are one of the most difficult aspects of a project to photograph well. Good images are critical for documenting a project. They are vital for marketing to future clients as it can often be difficult to visit interiors projects once they are occupied. Photographs are also important element for the architects' recognition in journals and awards. How to convey the space so that it's vibrant but truthful and still illustrates what the architect is about is a major challenge. How does digital photography impact the process? This panel will demystify the process for architects so that they can select an appropriate photographer, plan and schedule a shoot, get better images that are appropriate for future needs, and have a successful shoot.
