THE IIDA NY CHAPTER CORPORATE FORUM PRESENTS THE 12TH ANNUAL PIONEERING DESIGN LECTURE SERIES
COLLABORATION, CONNECTION AND COMMUNITY: Michael Maharam and Maira Kalman
The IIDA NY Corporate Forum invites you to join us for two exciting Pioneering Design evenings on Monday April 26th and Tuesday May 18th to be held at our new venue in Tribeca. This year's programs focus on "collaboration, connection, and community" and our speakers area shining examples of these themes.
In April we celebrate textile pioneer, Michael Maharam, whose multidisciplinary company brings to the forefront the work of fine artists, graphic, and industrial designers. Joining Michael is Maira Kalman, award-winning artist, illustrator, product designer and chronicler of daily life in New York City. Together they have collaborated to produce clever, witty, whimsical fabrics and digital art for use in contract and residential applications. The evening will focus on their collective and independent collaborations, given their prestigious careers.
