IIDA NY LESTER DUNDES INTERIOR DESIGN COMPETITION NOMINEES ANNOUNCED!
WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED LIVE AT THE AWARDS CEREMONY. 

New York, NY – The IIDA New York Chapter is pleased to announce the Nominees for the IIDA NY Lester Interior Design Competition Awards. Our distinguished Judges have selected nominees in seven project categories. 

The 2010 Lester Dundes Interior Design Competition Awards Nominees are:

Winners in each category will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on June 24th at the Haworth Showroom. In addition, there will be a special “Judges’ Award” given to a project that was felt to be in a category of its own. This Annual Competition was established in 2004 to recognize extraordinary design projects and to honor the members of the New York Chapter of the International Interior Design Association for their contributions to these exceptional projects and the design teams that created them.

Lester Dundes, legendary publisher of Interior Design Magazine, was a tireless advocate for the interior design profession. He was especially proud of having established the Interior Design “Hall of Fame” to honor the top designers in the industry. IIDA NY is proud to have established the Lester Dundes Interior Design Competition to honor his memory.

IIDA NY is grateful for the volunteer efforts of the Lester Dundes Committee Leadership Lance Amato, Eileen Ragsdale, and Anne Wood and their Committee Members who dedicated many hours over the course of this year. Every year brings new challenges and higher goals but each Lester Dundes Interior Design Competition brings new and exciting project entries submitted by our local design firms.
